Who we are
Jayne is most passionate when creating spaces that inspire, allow creativity, and enable people to fully express their personality and style. She believes that waking up in a well designed space can truly transform one's mindset.
As her passion deepened, she pursued a degree in Interior Architecture at the University of Canberra, where she explored how colours can influence emotions and moods, and how their proportions can create balance and harmony in a space.
After graduation, she joined a global company, where she helped transform work environments. She didn’t just design and build spaces; she created environments tailored to how people and team’s function. These designs boosted productivity, enhanced teamwork, and even improved attendance by understanding each client’s unique needs and solving problems through innovative design.
Jayne is an expert in both design and project management. With experience managing a variety of complex projects and clients simultaneously, she has developed a deep understanding of the fundamentals required to take a project from inception to handover. Her expertise ensures projects remain under budget and meet key milestones, all without compromising on quality.
In 2020, Jayne was recognized as one of the ‘500 Women in Property’ by The Property Council of Australia, nominated by JLL. This program celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women in the property industry across Australia.
Working for a Canberra based design firm shifting her career towards residential design, giving her greater flexibility and allowing her creativity to grow. It was during this time that GID was born.
Whether clients have purchased a home that needs a refresh or are considering selling but are unsure about the next steps, Jayne explores ways to maximise their property’s value through strategic upgrades. Or, for those simply looking to create a space that inspires creativity and reflects their style, she is always happy to chat!
